He fundamentally revolutionized Malayalam literature with his unique prose and philosophical depth. The narrative centers on Ravi, who arrives in the remote village of Khasak in the Palghat countryside. As he sets up a makeshift school, he interacts with a fascinating tapestry of characters: toddy-tappers, local shamans, conservative religious elders, and innocent children. Instead of finding typical peace, Khasak becomes a psychological mirror for Ravi.
