The Magic of the Lost Earrings

Nooni’s adventure takes her from the sacred ghats of Ujjain to Amritsar, Delhi and finally London. As she follows the clues connected to the earrings, she encounters stories of love, loss and heritage, discovering that treasured objects can carry memories and family histories.

Sudha Murty is an author, educator, philanthropist, engineer and public speaker. She holds a master's degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, and is widely known for her fiction and non-fiction for children and adults.

The Magic of the Lost Earrings follows Nooni after she discovers a pair of antique earrings that sets her on an unexpected journey. Along with her grandparents, she follows clues through historic Indian cities and eventually to London.

As Nooni uncovers the story behind the earrings, she learns about forgotten histories, family bonds, love and loss. The adventure combines mystery with themes of courage, togetherness and heritage, making it suitable for young readers aged 9 and above.
