The Circle of Life

Uttara Rao, Janaki Paranjape, Arvind Shah, K. Subba Rao and Sumitra Iyer come from very different backgrounds but form a lasting friendship at IISc. Twenty-five years later, they reunite and reflect on the choices, challenges, achievements and disappointments that shaped their lives.

Sudha Murty is an author, educator, engineer and philanthropist. She is the founder of the Infosys Foundation and chairperson of the Murty Trust. Her widely read books span fiction, children's literature and non-fiction, and she writes in both English and Kannada.

The Circle of Life follows five friends whose paths first cross at IISc in Bangalore. After twenty-five years, they return to the campus and look back on the different directions their lives have taken. Their experiences reveal the importance of friendship, resilience, relationships and the lessons gained through both success and disappointment.
