Royal Fantasy Stories

The collection includes stories about the evil magician Adhikara, kind-hearted Nilanjana and clever Chandralalat. Each tale combines royalty and fantasy while highlighting qualities such as courage, generosity, intelligence and compassion.

Harshikaa Udasi is a journalist and children's author with more than two decades of experience. She runs Book Trotters Club, a children's book club, and has written books including Friends Behind Walls and Kittu's Very Mad Day. Amar Chitra Katha has been creating illustrated adaptations of Indian mythology, history, folklore and literature since 1967.

The book presents three engaging fantasy adventures. Adhikara, an evil magician, is outwitted by a twelve-year-old child; Nilanjana's kindness and selfless nature win the affection of a wise prince; and Chandralalat uses quick thinking to save himself and reunite a separated family. Together, the stories offer entertaining adventures while celebrating courage, kindness and intelligence.
