Samarpan is a monk, writer and teacher who teaches ancient and modern scriptures. He is also the author of Param, Junglezen Sheru and other works, including the Hindi poetry collection Pathik.

Tiya, a lively parrot living comfortably in an old banyan tree, hears an unfamiliar voice that encourages him to leave his familiar surroundings. His journey takes him through strange places and encounters with fascinating creatures. Along the way, he learns about his limitations, the uniqueness of every living being and the importance of experience. Guided by his formless mentor Hans, Tiya gradually moves towards greater self-awareness and freedom.
