The book focuses on Queen Kunti, a central figure in the Mahabharata, and her prayers to Krishna. Her words are presented as reflections on devotion, adversity, divine grace and the deeper purpose of human life.
The book presents Queen Kunti's prayers from the Srimad-Bhagavatam, in which she addresses Lord Krishna with humility and devotion. Her experiences during the turbulent events surrounding the Pandavas provide a setting for reflections on faith, suffering, detachment and dependence on the divine. Srila Prabhupada's commentary explains the philosophical and devotional significance of these prayers.
