Overveiw

The Tiger's Pause examines a turbulent period in Sri Lankan history through the perspective of Swami Virupaksha, who spent nine years in the country supporting Art of Living initiatives and organizing Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s visits. The book focuses on attempts to promote a ceasefire and dialogue amid the conflict involving the LTTE and the Sri Lankan government.

Beyond diplomacy and political events, the narrative considers the human consequences of prolonged conflict, including the trauma experienced by Tamil and Sinhalese communities. Written in an empathetic style, it connects peace-building efforts with the broader search for reconciliation and healing.
